On a few occasions on this website we use artificial intelligence (AI). We are happy to be open about this.
Images
Some of our photos have been improved and prepared with AI technology, for example in sharpness, light and framing. Some images are illustrations created with AI. The people shown in them are fictitious: they are not real people and not so-called deepfakes.
Moving images
A few photos are briefly animated with AI (camera move, drips, water, animals, people). The basis is always a real photo of the cave or a labelled AI scene image; the cave itself is not altered. The motion lasts about five seconds, plays once and then stays as a still image.
